so im feeling better. the red sox won the other night to tie the series but are currently losing right now. im gonna head out in a few minutes to go watch it at the locust bar and eat some delicious french fries.
i have a job of sorts. im not too sure exactly what ill be doing but tom called today with a number for rose (who i met while working with tom down in south philly). called her up right away and she offered me a job over the phone to fill in for someone for a couple of weeks doing typical mail room bullshit. she apparently lives at 11th and wharton so shes going to pick me up tomorrow morning on her way to the head office at 5th and walnut.
oddly enough, yesterday i sent off a resume to work for the same company in the same building, just doing something else completely. i asked rose if this job would affect me getting hired for the other job, to which she replied "only if you want it to." im not sure whether to take that as to mean i may end up working for rose longer than a couple weeks or what.
i also called the corcoran and set up an appointment for the 24th to visit, but i have to make sure that wont affect this job. so yeah, i always feel better when im not stagnating and it definitely looks like things are on a roll. stoked.
