SG1: Stronghold
The Jaffa are getting rather Roman. That guy in the beginning so could have been played by Derek Jacobi. But I love their polotics. It's so much fun.

I also liked Ka'lel (*snicker*) being feminist!Jaffa. She's awesome, even though brainwashed.

I liked how it was so much more a Bra'tac episode than anything else. He was being badass; Teal'c was being in distress, Daniel rifled through papers, and Sam was off shooting "Grace Under Pressure". It was clearly written for Tony Amendola, for he is cool.

Not that I should not mention Cameron's plot. Cameron is fluffy and I love him. I liked his buddy, too. In the end it really was all about Teal'c and Cameron having a locker room moment. And that is LOVE! eeee!

Ba'al's outfit. I adored it, paisley lapels and all.

SGA: Grace Under Pressure
Tomato guy! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I loved him, and they killed him. I hate them.

But then there was Rodney, freaking out and being lovely and later wet.

Then there was his not!Sam and she was cute and wonderful. "Lt. Col. Siren"! loff! I just wonder at the SGA fandom who doesn't watch SG1, they'd probably get pissed off because they see this as overcompensating heterosexuality.

Really, the episode is somewhat like "Abyss". Except Jack never said to Daniel, "I'd believe you if you were naked." Though he should have had. This isn't as overwhelmingly awesome and full of fantastic characterization like "Abyss", but it's as close as you can get with something as silly as 'Lantis.

And SEA MONSTERS! I have been waiting for SEA MONSTERS forever! And now I want more. They should like take the sea monsters from Phantom Menace and put them in the Atlantis oceans. It'd be the coolest thing ever!

And the teaser for next week's episode was all about how John is the Shepwhore. whee!

BSG: Black Market
For once BSG takes it as the low point of the night.

Lee has angst. Lee sees a whore. We get an out-of-nowhere angst story about some girl he broke up with before the Cylon attack. They try to do a "Orpheus in the Underworld" type scene, but came off more like Jesus Christ Superstar. But Lee is not Jesus, oh no.

They killed Fisk rather early. Quite surprising, and again i feel a little cheap. Any type of actual non-Cylon threat is dealt with too quickly.

The BSG 'verse seeding underbelly is wholly uninteresting. I prefer SG1's. At least that's got Vala.

I also did not appreciate having a scene that made me have wrong thoughts about Lee and Gaius, and their proximity. Bad, Sev.

Speaking of wrong pairings...why that Dee/Lee thing? There was one moment of sexual tension once, Dee eavesdropping on Lee and Kara. Then suddenly she's all "What does this mean? Where is this going?" Which is balls. Lee is not a person to have a relationship with, and anyway she has Billy! Cute cuddly, wonderful Billy who sneaks smooches during curls! OMG KAWAII!

Next week is Kara's relationship angst. For the love of God, we all know Kara and Lee will never end up with anybody else, but nor will they ever do anything together. They're fucked up like that. But they need to stop trying to have relationships with other people. It's only painful. As this week's episode proved.
