SG1: Collatoral Damage
It's "Learning Curve" meets "Revisions". Except not really. The notion of using the memory technology for learning purposes was a very miniscule part of the episode. Still, it set warning bells off. Basically a murder mystery done Sci-Fi style. Is like "Revisions" due to altered memory abilities. Oh, and using the exact same set pieces from "Revisions" in the lab. Were we not suppose to notice? ahem. Unless it was suppose to be some sort of indication that these people have done technology trade with the "Revision" people, but maybe that should have been brought up.
I like the opening very much. It was awesome like a horror movie. Not digging the wide lense though. Made me feel too much like I was watching an episode of Farscape.
Ben Browder doing classy and sleazy...not so much.
I am glad that we are finally at a planet that is neither primative nor the 1940s. Hooray.
Why didn't SG1 dress-up in their good duds for the reception? That's just sooo tacky.
And good Lord, must every member of SG1 have some sort of parents issue? True, Jack didn't. He had dead son issues.
I love how memories can be either first or third person POV.
I am disappointed that in the end the chick didn't fake her own death. If she was suppose to be the most l33t with the machine, I thought only she could do the stuff they were describing. That would have been an awesome twist.
SGA: Epiphanies
SG1's "100 Days" meets SGA's "Sanctuary".
And dammit. I hoped against hope that the inviso-monster was not a manifestation of their fears and thus its defeat would finally bring them ascension. *sigh* Just goes to show there is no hope left where 'Lantis is concerned.
BSG: Ressurection Ship II
Wet shirtless Lee. Starting out as a good episode.
Hey...the whole going back a couple days was already done on SG1!
aw. Nobody does it like Kara/Lee.
Aha, the soap thing. Just like in Full Metal Jacket. Mmm....Full Metal Jacket.
Damn Jamie Bamber wears that uniform well.
Keeping with his MO, Jamie dies. Well, almost nearly really almost. Now he can grow a beard, move to Canada to work as a spy all with the help with his rich twin cousin, Tony. Wait...wrong show.
Wow. That had me on the edge of my seat! But am disappointed that both Cain and Adama backed down. Thought consequences were going to be had. Bollocks. What a cop-out. I suppose it is better than my theory that Pegasus Colonel guy was going to have a change of heart after seeing how swell Adama really is.
Dee... Whu?
OMG. Roslin is so freaking cute. All giggly and happy. *hugs*
Stupid pins, stupid smooch, stupid music, made me nearly all sniffly. Stupid show
I am very excited for next week's SG1! Not to mention BSG looks all the more intense. jeepers.
