So....Christmas
No mass this year. Fr. Stever apparenlty has taken to burning incense all the time. It aggravates allergies in mother so yeah. Didn't go.
Christmas Eve: Went out and shopped with mom for Christmas meal things. Came home and watched RotK unti, brother got home from work and Sister and her family to come over so there could be present opening. We got as far as "Then let us be rid of it, once and for all" before people arrived. Still haven't finished it. So that'll be later today.
So. Presents. A nice and large and LOVELY book on Nelson's Navy. OMG it's so freaking shiny. And will help me a lot if I decide to go aheand with one of my other break projects: making Sims costum career. Speaking of...Sims 2 Nightlife! Still poking around figuring how to utilize all the new stuff. Have begun on my Nightlife community. I've called it Beaumond. I already built a resteraunt (The Maidenhead), and a Dance Club (The Stargating Club), will next build a bowling lane. Don't know what I'll name that. Um, what else. The Rent movie sndtrk. A couple shirts (thanks mom), and a new Sense and Sensibility DVD since my original was never heard from again. Will be watching that tonight with mom after finishing RotK. My family completely failed in getting my S2 of Gargoyles. They all claimed they couldn't find it. So taking the bucks I got from my sister, I went out today and bought it myself. Oh man...."The Mirror"...on DVD. I am going to be screencapping the hell out of that bugger and expect a new crop of Puck icons. Yes, my precious.

Christmas Day: Went and saw King Kong it was good. I won't say it isn't. But it is pretty much 5% story 95% Action sequences. Andy Serkis was dreamy as Lumpy the chef. Brother finished S1 of BSG, and I have been shoving Q.I. down his throat. Am plugging ears and squeezing eyes shut until I get the disk of Doctor Who in the post. So quite yous.
For all of you had a less than satisfactory holidays, that's really teh SuX and I'm sorry. If you need cheering up just...well, I'm not online a lot 'cause of dial-up, but you know I'm here with hugs.
So that just leaves a happy Hannukah and New years!
