New Year's Eve
Well, spent it doing the usual thing. just hanging out, watching things. or in today's case listening as well.
As per the usual New Year's tradition we watched Encino Man (don't ask me, it's something weird my mom feels she must do every Dec. 31st). And honestly, the movie is stupid, but it's also kinda fun. The sad thing is that the coolness of the other main male actors in the movie (Sean Astin, Brendan Fraser, Michael DeLuise), you also have Pauly Shore, and that just causes major internal bleeding. Nice to know though that Brendan and Sean continue in bigger and brighter things, Michael still does the random thing (dude, he was in an ep of Lost!) and yet Mr. Was-a-Fad-for-Six-Minutes is naught. That makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
Ah. and then listened to the latest Eighth Doctor audio The Next Life. Interesting. Fun. The Doctor said "He's so mauve" and I fell out of my chair. mmm...it's been a while since I've watched Withnail and I. No...I have some vidding to try to do. If I could just figure out why this 3min track suddenly becomes 6 minutes when I import it into Movie Maker. hrmh.
