Why do dentists feel the best thing to do to your gums is poke it soundly with a very sharp pointy thing?
lalalala. Yesterday watched Escape from Mars. not bad, just a little boring and I think lacked in....tension. I mean honestly, at the end of the movie the chick who was doing a little narrative overvoice through the whole thing was saying something about how they learned "more about ourselves than Mars, and we struggled more with each other than with the planet". Huh, yeah except there were no startling character revelations, and maybe a little tension between characters, but the worst it got was when cute shy lil' architect boy got a little shouty. And poorly titled movie at that. More than half of it was thme just getting there. And once there there was no imminent threat of something to "escape from". Their ship was damaged during a meteor shower which made things a little bad. So I suppose a more apt name for the movie should've been something like "Going to Mars". NOt punchy, but wouldn't raise expectations. I wish it was on DVD so I could screencap it and give you a nice running review like jenavira did for The Bunker.
watched PotC tonight. Makes me want to go find my fave Sparrington fics again. Crap...if I can remember where they're at. Jen, a little help here?
and now methinks I have a Josh Groban in concert DVD to watch.
