And it's been nothing but machine issues whether it's a computer, the photocopier, someone messing up a microfilm, someone so scared of messing up the microfilm needs their hand held even just to print!
And some bad bad who. Ugh. His little son was next to him on the computer when I noticed the kid eating something. I just went over to remind them no eating. And the Dad FREAKIN OUT on the kid. He tore the food away shouting "I TOLD YOU TO GET RID OF IT!!!" And the kids starts crying.
I left the area because err.... I know it wasn't my fault but HAWKWARD!
They settled. Then I noticed the kid wandering off his own. So I found him and he said that he was going to the bathroom. I noted he was too young to be on his own. "I know," the little boy said. "I told him that, but he won't come."
So I took the boy back to the father to tell him that the boy was too young to be on his own, and has to be by his grown-up. Dad was upset again all. "Well, we're TRYING to do everything, but I guess we're just not good enough. We're unfit to be at the library!"
And it's just...IDK WTF. And maybe there's a lot of shit going on his life right now, too. But fuck me, wouldn't it be worse if you didn't know where your child was???
