Back in high school and college, Thursdays were the bane of my existence. They were this terrible road block to the weekend, and for some reason bad shit always went down on a Thursday. So, imagine me crackin' open HHGttG for the first time in high school and seeing that line! "SOMEONE ELSE UNDERSTANDS!!!!"
LOL, found my newest one! Been writing more Re-Animator fic lately and realized I ought to have an icon for the pairing I'm writing about. And you know, this was totally the most heterosexual moment in a movie ever....
Oh hai, The Room. If you've never experienced this piece of cinematic gold you should! The acting! The writing! The editing! The sense-making! Or at least watch this review of it and/or go find the Rifftrax.
Martin Shaw as Father Jacob in Apparitions. I love this show. Great characters, cool story, awesomely gory. As someone raised Catholic, I thought it did a decent job at representing the different sorts of people you get in the modern Catholic church.
I did not expect to find a slash pairing while watching TRON. Well, I did. Flynn/Tron OTP. Just don't think about the whole human/computer program element too hard.
