What is the deal?
I always feel bad when someone comes up asking for books on paganism, witchcraft, the occult, etc; because I know that so many of our books (and probably the most helpful) are set to MISSING or TRACE, read: Stolen.
Now, what I wonder is who exactly is stealing them? Is it people interested in the material and too cheap to buy resources for themselves? Or is it the censorship douchebags that think we ought not provide such material and therefore steal it to, I dunno...have a book burning?
But if it were the second group, then you'd think a lot of our books on homosexuality would be missing, too. And our Harry Potter books. And taking a look at those records...nope. Everything seems to be in place. Aww, including our copies of And Tango Makes Three!
I'm just baffled. And dismayed.
