I love a TV show that's....that's....mainstream!
So mainstream that tonight at work I overheard two teenage girls talking about it! Teenage. Girls! They're suppose to be talking about Twilight or Gossip Girl so I could eye them with derision!
*sob*
On the other hand, I am also pleased with NCIS success because that means Americans actually appreciate quality television (at least until American Idol comes back). And NCIS deserves it. I love how it's been quietly awesome for all these years, not making any big deals out of itself, and its audience keeps growing exponentially. Too many shows previously that did make it big, are the over-hyped ones that get great ratings in their first season, then loses a lot of viewers in subsequent years *cough*Lost*cough*Heroes.
Ah well, I'll always have my obscure British shows and short-lived American Sci-Fi shows.
Speaking of, Invisible Man fandom is fantastically responsive! I keep getting comments on my fic! ZOMG! After the dry well of feedback that is the Robin of Sherwood fandom, this is like a waterfall of happee! Yay!
