Sounds of Summer
Sitting outside watching my nephew in the wee pool. I'm on the back porch, in the shade.
We have the boys for a week, but we switch them off. I'm currently watching Colin's skinny white arse splashing around. After my mom gets back from a haircut we're taking him to the redone Turtle Island playground. I would take pictures of how the riverfront is still being done-over, but my camera isn't working.
Going to have to search my soul and decide what is more important: New pair of Nikes (mine are finally a bit ratty) or a new camera.
I still haven't gotten around to paying for my extra icons.
Anyway, in a couple days we'll have Chase then. He likes reading and writing and libraries, so may take him to work with me.
Might have my feel of kids too soon. Yesterday had a couple of absolute asshole kids who couldn't even go the fuck away and leave me alone after closing. Didn't calm down until I got myself an iced-mocha and listened to some Placebo on the way home.
Haven't been on AIM and such much since free-time is being eaten by OMG SIMS! It's like college all over again.
