The Doing of Things
Had my first eye exam in about three years. Good news is that my eyesight has worsen only a "fraction," but that does include my astigmatism in the right eye has worsened as well. Exam plus new order of contact lenses w/o any insurance was a bit of a pretty penny, and the reason why it has been so long since I've had an exam. Although the Doctor is quite cute, you don't mind his face having be close to yours. I do think he needs to reconsider the soul patch he's now sporting. Ew.
cruelest_month, your package is away, and I hope you get it since it was the first time I used one of those self-service machines, and God knows if I did it proper.
Rewatched Bleak House with mother over the weekend, only her second time through, my fifth at least. I still have complete unnecessary love for Mr Guppy of Kenge and Carboys. Yes he's something of a creepy stalker, but he is just too adorable to me! And Smallweed gets funnier and funnier with every viewing, I swear. Okay, I could natter on about how Bleak House is Dickens' greatest work and how wonderful and beautiful this adaptation is, but I will spare you. BUT OMG SO MUCH LOVE.
Watching more Judge John Deed. I was put off by this whole notion of him seeing a therapist to cure him of his womanizing so Jo Mills will marry him thing. But then he managed to seduce the therapist, and that made everything okay. LOL manwhore. And why did they change the dog? New Dog not as cute as Rosie. :P
though omg this series is making me paranoid about my mobile.
Now either tomorrow or Wednesday I'll be getting my wee laptop! \0/ Happy Tax Returns to me! I'm really hoping having it will help me with writing, get me away from desk and main computer and all its distractions.
