It's Christmas Time in the City
which means it's really boring at work.
Is okay, is giving me time to work on my Robin of Sherwood fic, which is good since it's a Christmas fic and that's kinda coming up and I have other Christmas fic ideas I need to follow through on. Although one of my original story elements is getting axed b/c I looked it up and it wouldn't be historically accurate. Which I know shouldn't be a big deal considering the canon, but still...
I'm already getting presents! Last week went and saw jenavira and fedora_hat so got pressies from them. Then today went out with mom and got a new mobile. :D
More snow tomorrow. D: but after Saturday we're suppose to finally have a good chunk of days without percipitation. I hope it does come true, it'll make New Year's plans all the better.
Had one massive jerk tonight. He technically wasn't my massive jerk, but the reference librarian's. But I'm right next door so I was witness to it all and managed to console her after dealing with the asshole.
Speaking of assholes, my sister's coming Christmas Day then leaving her kids here. Wow. Gotta wonder how Chase and Colin feel about that. Merry Christmas! Mommy and Daddy're gonna leave you for a few says now, byeeeee!
Have watched the first three episodes of The Professionals. I think I like it. Even if their jeans are a bit too tight and there's some 70s..well you know...sexism and racism that makes me cringe. and omg the opening credit sequence it's all "waka-chika waka-chika" and makes me lulz. Haven't decided yet who I like more. I'm leaning towards Bodie, but then I do like how Doyle mocks Bodie and his man-whoreness. heheheh. But then their boss is completely badass, so I may end up liking him best of all.
ehm...right. Back to work then and fic writing.
