And my weekend of debauchery comes to an end
Thursday was cruelest_month's birthday. To celebrate we went to Madison and stayed with jenavira and fedora_hat and bought a nice amount of booze.
I made joker cupcakes. The black dye stained our teeth and lips, and jenavira will be happy to hear that the photo I took of her didn't really show the stains very well, so I won't bother posting. We drank our alcohol from Iron Man cups, ate the cupcakes off Iron Man plates, and I even had an Iron Man banner to hang.
Thursday night I only had a Bailey's and maybe that was the night where I got wine everywhere because the cork fell into the bottle the moment I tried sticking the corkscrew in it. :( lame. And we watched some QI
Friday evening there was more wine, and raspberry beer, and we played Apples to Apples, interrupted for a few minute as cruelest_month and I became overheated from the wine and vaguely hot atmosphere and started fanning ourselves and talking like Southern Belles. It was hilarious, I assure you. Then there was more QI as we tried to sober up. Oh! and we watched The Great Mouse Detective! <3
Now I'm back home and my copy of The Might Book of Boosh has finally arrived! A moment that was sullied by my brother who buys books so often that he had assumed the package from amazon was for him and ripped it open without even looking at the name on the label. Sure he taped it back up and my mother tried to tell me it was "nothing to get upset about, we've all accidentally opened someone else's mail at some point." All that same, I am upset. It's like someone opening your Christmas present before you, and then they taped it back up again. Some of the magic is spoiled. :(
oh! I also has a free chair for my room! Some people in the girls' apartment building moved out and left some stuff on the curb. I was wanting a new chair! Score!
