One show finished, on to another

Last night watched the rest of The Invisible Man. Very boo that it is another show that fell prey to Sci-Fi channel's premature cancellation. At least it got two full seasons and not just 13 episodes like something else I can name that I quite like. 'course now I wanna go back and rewatch maybe the pilot at least, just be reminded how it all started and get a better handle of how things evolved and progressed. Also at the end of the day, I cannot be too bothered by Alex Monroe. For being in the opening credit she is in fact only in half the episodes, and nowhere to be seen in the final three of the season. I suppose that just proves how she really brought nothing to the show and was so disconnected from the original plot, the writers didn't know what to do with her. They gave her her own plot...which was resolved half-way through the season. So in many ways...I find it easy to ignore her. If they did have a season 3, they could've dropped her and who knows if it'd even get a mention.

Was highly amused to find three fangirl show summaries already that have similar lines about Paul Ben-Victor. Basically saying "And he is hot. ...No, seriously, trust me. He is. He really is. I know, you just look at a pic and go 'WTF?' but watch the series, YOU WILL WANT HIM!" Which is all very true. I hadn't even seen any of these summaries when I made that revelation. So totally made of awesome.

I just finished I-Man in time to start Daybreak. I received the first two discs from Netflix today. It gives me a much needed Adam Baldwin fix. Will make screencaps. nummy num. Not that Taye Diggs isn't nice to look at. And he's shirtless enough to make it worth while. Having only watched three eps, I can say it is so far interesting, and working with the premise a lot better than I originally would have given it credit for. Although not entirely sure how they would've stretched to multiple seasons if it managed to make it past this one. There is also Mitch Pileggi and Moon Bloodgood (she was in another failed Time-travel related show Journeyman).

Speaking of I-Man and Adam Baldwin, if Jen doesn't get around to writing her I-Man/Chuck x-over, I may just have to do it myself. Hobbes and Casey as former NSA partners is just. too. brilliant.

can't fight the television, invisible man, chuck
