Goodbye, yellow brick road...
Sam whines about Gene's driving, and so we get another "Dorothy"
Synchronized door-opening.
Well, because Sammy-boy once again is of the mind that None of This is Real, and Gene is a tumor, he'll be spending most of the ep being a prat.
And here Sam goes on about how trying to change Gene has no point. WAS HE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE LAST EPISODE??? Gene has been making changes, for you, you ass.
Yah, Gene believes Sam would read girly mags for articles, 'cause the Guv knows just how gay Sam really is.
When confronted with some evidence that All This is Real, Sam's devastated, and his first and greatest concerns lie with Gene. "If this is real, then Gene has a life. What's gonna happen to him?"
SAM: "There must be thousands of officers out there like Gene Hunt. Why- -"
MORGAN: "We only need an example of one."
SAM: "But he gets results, you can't deny that."
so he has been paying attention in class...
So Sam's big dilemma: "Home" or Gene. I don't see how that's even a choice, but oh well.
zomg, I nearly died when Nelson says, "When you can feel, then you're alive," Because in
my first ever LoM fic the whole Sam/Gene relationship centered on that theme! (including describing that first punch to the stomach being like Dorothy opening the doors and the world turning to color. Damn I'm good)
eek! When Ray tries telling Gene about Sam's plan of betrayal, Gene shouts, "Sam, tell me this isn't true!" Is a little heartbreaking, I tell you. I mean, fuck we just spent last week confirming their bond of trust.
Nor is Gene very happy that Sam is calling Morgan for help. "Looks like lover-boy isn't coming!" No fury like a Gene Genie scorned.
Then Sam redeems himself somewhat again by defending Gene to Morgan. Pointing out that Gene never asks of his officers what he wouldn't do himself, and for that none of them should die.
But Sam does leave them even with Gene and the others in trouble. Ass.
OMG, 2007 is so boring without my hawt gay sex.
You guys? So not as hawt as Gene.
Bleeding just means nothing if it weren't caused by a loving punch in the nose.
omg this
Sam's smile as the track of "Life on Mars" reaches the Take a look at the lawman/beating up the wrong guy line.
*sniffles* GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENE! GO BACK TO HEEEEEM, SAM!
YAY!
And Sam saves the day by shooting the bad guy just as he had his shotgun aimed at Gene.
"Come 'ere" Sam sez, wanting touchies.
"Get off, I'm not a fairy!" translation: Shhh, not in front of the others
"Put that sopping(?) plonk down, and get in!" Gene Hunt saves us from the het once again! My hero!
And Sam goes back to being all wifey, and concerned, not wanting Gene to drive with his bad leg.
And Gene calls Sam a "Noncey-arsed fairy boy" for good measure.
and they go off into the sunset bickering like they also have, and they shall bicker and be gay and lovely FOREVER! (or until 1981)
THE END!
But not of The Guide!
