Today marks one year and one day since Steve Irwin died. We were watching him on tv last night and I had realized that since his death I had a very hard time seeing him, knowing that he was gone. I'd find myself flipping past the Animal Planet channel because I'd start to choke up. Last night wasn't so different and I really miss the larrakin. It makes me very sad, as if a member of my family had died.

I can't wait to go back to Australia and see his wonderful zoo, again.
