[Link is sitting on top of the roof of Seventh Heaven, playing his Ocarina happily. His wings are nice and big and pale green, now, and he's swinging his legs, perhaps a bit recklessly.

Sitting open next to him is his journal, broadcasting the cheerful tune.

He's feeling uncharacteristically talkative and cheerful... :D]

[Rydia wanders by, her wings a deep shade of green and she steps lightly, bringing a swirl of breezes with her. She tilts her face up to the wind and smiles, then turns to hear the music. Wanting to be closer to it, she leaps. The wind seems to carry her, as she has no trouble reaching the roof, despite never having jumped that high before.]

[Link sees her coming, and continues playing even as she's come up to his side. When the song finishes on its own, he turns to her and grins.]

Rydia.

[She beams, sending a small whirlwind breeze his way.]

Hello, Link! That was a lovely tune.

[sevenyearsgone]

[[He smiles happily and tips the ocarina in her direction.]]

Thanks. My best friend from home taught it to me when I was a kid. It's really fun to play, too.

Those are beautiful wings, too! A larger version of what I used to have.

[She admired them for a moment, then sends a gentle breeze to swirl around them.]

This is a wonderful change, isn't it?

I like it.

[He sighs happily into the breeze.]

Are all of the experiments like this?

[She shakes her head emphatically.]

If only they were! Valentine's Day caused random people to fall in love, the event next month was a variety of chaos--but I remember the menus and the music that followed me everywhere. The one after that caused people's personalities to change--traits magnified or disappeared. This is by far the most fun I've ever had during one.

Oh.

[If Link were his normal self, he would ponder those facts in an effort to understand them. But his spirit doesn't really care. So, with a "what can you do?" shrug, he brings the ocarina back to his lips and resumes playing.]

[She smiles and listens contentedly to his music, but it's difficult for her to stay still. After a moment, she begins to dance to it.]

[sevenyearsgone]

[Well, now that's something that gets his attention. There's still a teenage boy underneath that spirit, too. He continues playing, but he's watching her as he does, now. This is pretty awesome.]

[She hums along to the music, twirling and she bends the wind to her will, making it support her. That smile is wider now, as she enjoys the freedom of dancing in the air, not being bound anything but the tune.]

[The song comes to a stop again, and Link grins at her happily. Awesome, indeed.]

You're... a really good dancer, Rydia! Um... should I play it again?

[She beams, then nods encouragingly.]

[He takes a moment to pause, and then begins to play another song, slower and more soulful. Although Link's ocarina playing isn't the most skillful, the emotion behind the notes is strong. All of these little songs mean a lot to him, and observers can tell.]

[Rydia pauses to listen to the song and the emotion it conveys. She enjoys his music anyway, but the fact that they must mean something to him only adds to the atmosphere they provide. After a bit, she begins to dance again, though in keeping with the song, her movements are slower and more graceful than boisterous.]

[The song slowly comes to an end, and as he sets his ocarina down his sighs and flops onto his back wistfully. His large wings sprawl out across the roof under him.]

...you really are good at dancing.
