A normal day.

Fortunately, my trip back to America was a lot smoother than this.

I think yesterday was a pretty good day, all things considering.

After working loads on Leah Lemasters' commission, I decided to take a stop by Goodwill because I needed some warmer shirts.

After hopping off my bike, a strangely peaceful older lady stopped me and wanted to know if she could ask me some questions.

As per the usual, that means, "Let's talk about God."

Mentally prepared, she asked what I believe in. I said, "humanity". She asked what I am. I said, "human". She asked if I follow any religion. I said, "All religions have some essential truths to them."

She stopped to think for a moment, then said, "Well I get really good vibes from you. I hope you have a blessed day." I thanked her and wished her the same.

Walked inside Goodwill to find A HALF OFF EVERYTHING sale. Talk about good vibes!

Then returned home with some new clothes and a six pack of Pipeline Porter... only to realize I locked myself out.

Next door however, the neighbors were cleaning out their gutters with the help of a really tall ladder. I offered them a couple beers in exchange for some ladder rescue, and enjoyed the rest of my evening and my dumb luck. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
