This may well seem an odd question, and forgive me if it is, but would anyone be kind enough to show me how it is these strange... contraptions in the homes work? I did manage to figure out the strange lights, but the rest is somewhat baffling.

Just press the buttons, they're bound to come on at some point. Then use the little touchy thing or the thing you move around with your hand and click on things.

Anyone can speak Goron! All you have to do is stuff gravel in your mouth and grunt cheerfully. Or angrily, if you're Darunia. I admit maybe I don't know all of the syntax and tenses get me - you're not smiling are you?

The thing! It has a little board with buttons on it, and some little circles with holes on them that noise comes out of! There's a button at the side and a few holes beside it!

Zelda, I've never seen a book look like this. It's sort of like a gossip stone.

Mine was like a book without pages. And everything was inside. I fail to see the likeness to a Gossip Stone.

...Although it is a communicating device.

Mine is on a shelf. There's a little board with buttons connected to a slot which has a little three-pronged squiggly line over it, and the little thing you move around with your hand was connected to the board. The thing itself it big and white and clunky, and has a little apple with a bite out of it on the front. It looks more like a gossip stone than a book.

Yeah! Mine made a weird noise when I pressed the right button. Er, it's sort of a circle with the top open and a vertical line down the opening?
