What can you do when no one can hear you? What happens when everyone is asleep and you are utterly alone; isolated from that which you thought inextricably a part of you? You despair. Life comes crashing in and you wake up, unable to fall back into the dream. The Sun knew and yet did not know; it said the right name but it did not understand how terribly right it was. Yes, It. Always it. How dare I risk any more? Already my offering lies cooling upon the altar. The heavens are silent; the sun, veiled. I have given my all. But the Sun has set for the night.
