I feel as though I've been asleep for days and am still tired. (Not true, of course, because there is evidence I did get up and go to lessons, as I have taken notes and written nearly two feet on the properties of aconite, but it doesn't feel as though I was actually conscious for any of this

You're the only person besides myself who's rummaged through my trunk since I last saw it. I suppose you'll now understand why it's only reasonable to think that you, who seem to like books, would've stolen a book that's been impossible to find in any book shop for ages.
