On The Subject Of Beauty...
I went shopping this evening with a girl named Mel. We went over to Saint's Isle and the big marketplace there. Mel practically brought the whole market's worth of clothes, which meant that I was carrying most of the stuff for her. You have no idea how heavy a bunch of cloth can get unless you've carted it around a market the size of the play island for several hours.
Either way, I met this man there. He was an off-worlder, I'm sure. He was selling some incredible jewelry that he says he made himself. He even says he was in the war. I wanted deperately to ask him if he knew Sora, but... I guess I didn't want to get my hopes up.
I bought something from him, though! A hair comb, with silver flowers on it. It's really pretty, Mel and Mom both want to borrow it. Dad was a little disgruntled that I used all my money on it, but even he says that it's nice. The only thing about it is that that man seemed so hesitant to sell it. I guess he just wanted me to pick something nicer, maybe make me pay more money.. I dunno.
I need to get to bed, I have a lot to do tomorrow. Graduation and everything.
