Bass leaned into the weight, looking ahead flatly. At the shove he brought his arm up sharply, brushing Kaito's hand away. "Yeah yeah. Remind me again why I agreed to this?"

The words sounded bitter, but when he turned to Kaito it was with that same old smirk.

He rolled his eyes with a slight scoff and turned to him with a smirk. "You say that like I care about scaring kids."

Heaving a sigh Bass gestured down the sidewalk. "Come on. Let's get this over with."

"Hanging with you? It's always painful, and usually for me." Bass had already started walking away by that point, but he was smirking.

"Are you coming or not?"

"Yeah I figured as much, what with all the enthusiasm you had for this idea." Bass glanced off for a moment, then looked back with a blink. "What the hell are we going to see anyway?"

"Figures." Bass snorted softly and gave Kaito a sidelong smirk. "It always comes down to winging it."

"No, it's not bad. I was just making an observational comment."

Bass rolled his eyes and smirked, reaching out to give Kaito a bop in the shoulder. Though it wasn't mean spirited, it still had the robot's usual heavy-handedness. Pun not intended.

"Please. Bass-kun is bad enough."

Bass rolled his eyes and sighed, smirking at him. "Yeah yeah. Keep that up and I'm going to hit you."
