So

this fantastic meme, and I don't have as much vision as her nor have I reflected much on the subject, but I figured it was a good way to get started at any rate.

Favorite dude drawing artists?
KOTOBUKI TARAKO
It's a shame I couldn't find the illustrations I wanted, but yeah, I love Kotobuki Tarako's style. Most people think it's ugly, but what I love about her art is that it's so expressive; she doesn't give a fuck about anatomy if it gets in the way of her expressivity. She can draw huge-ass impossible hands, super masculine or super feminine guys, but whatever she does, her personnality just bursts through -- her art is ballsy, and I like balls. Well, you get my drift. I love artists who just come out and say "THIS is me, this is the way I want to draw, and there is no force in the universe that can make me draw otherwise, fuck you." (which is one of the reasons I also have endless respect for someone like Hirohiko Araki, the author of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, even though I don't even *like* his art, just because you can see through his (super camp) style how huge his nuts actually are)
NAGOYA HARUKO
I actually know very little of Nagoya's art; I just have scans of one of her artbooks called Border. What I love about her illustrations is the "snap-shot" quality of them; they look very natural, like a moment caught in time and intimacy. I also love the emergency, the "urgent" feel of the sensual scenes she depicts.
HAMLET MACHINE
I love HM's sense of anatomy, and the sex scenes she draws are super hot and convincing, mostly because she gets the expressions right. There is nothing that puts me off more quickly than sex scenes where the characters' expressions are not believable (or not expressive at all).
YAMATOGAWA
Well it's a hentai artist and I don't particularly like the way he draws dudes, but he draws superb (and ginormous, of course, it's hentai) penises
I also love the sex scenes he draws because he uses very unique angles, they're always dynamic and fluid and the characters' expressions are absolutely gorgeous all the time. He's one of my favourite hentai artists ever. Also, my master in boobs drawing (I know, I know, I'm straying from the main subject, BUT BOOBS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT OKAY, IT'S MY WAY OF THE SAMURAI SO SHUT UP AND LOOK AT THIS):
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST:
Do I really need to tell why I love her art so much? When I discovered it last year, it was an intense, eye-opening experience, and I haven't been able to get over that epiphany ever since. She draws men like I've never seen men drawn before, and I can't get enough of her drawings. She's the artist that has brought me the most inspiration to this day.
What makes a dude sexy?
Warning: stupid, cliché answer, prepare to cringe:
What makes a dude sexy is the way they're so different from women.
I TOLD YOU IT WAS A LAME ANSWER, I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY.
But it's true. I'm fascinated (and turned on) by male anatomy because I really find it different and it took me a very long time before I could begin to understand how it works (mind you, I still don't understand completely how it works, but I just find it less illogical now. Anyway)
Less stupid and cliché answer: well I guess you can gather from my favourite "dude-drawing" artists that what I love most is expressivity, and that's what I find sexy. I hate stone-faced, blank-eyed male pin-ups, while nothing turns me on more than a beautiful expression.
Yes, even one like that XD (Courbet's awesome)
Other possible answer: generally what makes a dude sexy for me is... another dude in the picture. (lame answer agaiiiiiin!)
Favorite part of drawing dudes?
What do you wish you saw more of in erotic art?
No, seriously though. We don't see enough of them.
I'd love to see more body hair too. I love body hair. And pubes. <3
Dudespiration! GO!
I can't get enough of how Luchino Visconti filmed men. One scene in particular: Lancaster's bath scene in The Leopard.

http://fredmjgblogueandbulle.blogspot.com/2011/01/etre-ou-ne-pas-etre-dans-le-bain-19.html Also, Alain Delon in René Clément's movie Plein Soleil (Purple Noon in English -- it's actually the first adaptation of The Talented Mr Ripley. Minghella's 1999 remake really doesn't stand the comparison, Plein Soleil is an absolute masterpiece)
One of my favourite movies ever, and Delon in it is the most gorgeous specimen of masculinity I've ever seen.
But it's even better when he's moving so check out the video below; don't pay attention to the song, only look at the images

To die for, quite literally.
ETA: I thought it would be too obvious if I put pictures of Benedict here, but now I realize I don't give a fuck about being obvious. So, Benedictspiration:
Benedict in Converse shoes (UNF)
And Cumberbooty (with and without jeans):
You're welcome =D
Aaaaaah that was fun. Thanks, Polly!
