Doctor Who/Sherlock meme
Just finished re-watching New Who season 1 to 4.5 to initiate friends and make them cry their hearts out (because that's what real friends do), so I thought I'd give this meme a shot, in celebration.
1. Sherlock or Doctor Who
Both have eaten my brain, but I'm generally more obsessive about Sherlock. Maybe because I consider it to be a love story. As for Doctor Who, I limit my love to Nu-Who from season 1 to 4.5 (9th to 10th Doctor). I've decided I don't like Moffat's run; he's a great writer on individual episodes but he's a lousy showrunner. I'm an RTD girl through and through (even though I won't deny RTD had his flaws)
2. Moriarty or the Master?
AAAAAAAAAHHHH HORRIBLE QUESTION ALREADY!!!! Well. I love Andrew Scott's Moriarty to bits, but I think he did a stellar job with a character that maybe didn't get enough time to develop. And the Master... I'm still in awe at the Master's plan at the end of season 3. Best villain plan ever. So, so brilliant, with Utopia and the Toclafanes and the time machine turned into a paradox machine... it's so flawless and horrible and AWESOME! So much so that the Doctor had to turn into Tinkerbell Jesus in order to defeat him (yeah, that particular happy ending still seems very unlikely to me; in my heart of hearts, I think the Master has actually won for ever and ever and ever amen) So, just for the Utopia/Toclafanes evil master (hohoho) plan, I'm gonna go with the Master on this one (even though Andrew Scott is in my opinion a better actor than John Simm).
3. Benedict or Martin?
Benedict. Because I can't get enough of his dorkiness and his face and his everything. Also because I don't agree with Martin Freeman's political opinions.
4. Favourite Doctor Who companion?
Donnaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
5. Favourite Doctor
9th, no question, ever
6. Favourite Sherlock character
Hard one! John Watson, probably (although... MYCROOOOOOFT!!!!!)
7. Favourite Sherlock episode
Scandal in Belgravia, I'd say, only without that last bit at the end which we all agree doesn't exist anyway so yeah. It's a close one with Study in Pink.
8. Favourite Doctor Who episode
Waters of Mars.

10. Least favourite Sherlock character
Soo Lin Yao? It's a bit unfair to her since the whole episode was so poorly written, but I really didn't care about her character.

The Ponds. All of them.
12. The Doctor or Sherlock?
Aaaaaah I don't know. Sherlock is the one who fascinates me the most, but if we're talking about, let's say, Nine, he's the one I'm in love with and would follow anywhere.
13. Rose Tyler or Amy Pond?
Rose Tyler.
14. Least favourite companion?
THE PONDS.
15. Thoughts on Mycroft/Lestrade
FUCK YES.
16. What do you think of Molly Hooper?
Love her. Also Molly would be the best companion ever.

Honestly too hard, I can't answer that one. Benedict is brilliant, so is Martin (even though, like I said, our political views differ), Andrew Scott single-handedly managed to sell the improbable character that is Moriarty to me, Mark Gatiss as Mycroft breaks my heart, Loo Brealey breaks my heart even more, Rupert Graves doesn't have to do anything, he could just stand there and I would watch hours and hours of him just standing... I really can't answer that at all.
