I really, really, really loved Beasts of the Southern Wild. Like, to unreasonable amounts. It embodied the spirit of my childhood like no other film before. Also, most badass little girl in the history of the cinema ever. What's not to love about post-apocalyptic Ponyo in the bayou meets Where the Wild Things Are? Lovely. Gimme more of that.
