You guise, 00Q is a BABY FANDOM.
IT'S ADORABLE.
I was (more or less) there when it was born and now I'm watching it grow with motherly pride. The fans are calling themselves "00Qties" or are hashtagging everything with "#00Qpioneers4satan" (after an inside joke between friends on tumblr apparently) and they're all very cute and enthusiastic and there ( Read more... )

How do you do to avoid the SPN fandom? They are everyfuckingwhere and pretty effervescent right now! I think they've just had new canon.

What fandom is quiet ? Isn't it the very nature of fandom to be quite rowdy and vociferous ?

Oh man. Lots of fandoms are pretty quiet. You have no idea. Some are pretty shy and skittish. Some hide under bushes, and stock pile cans and munitions for the apocalypse. Some hide in members only clubs and you are not invited. Some throw this wild party every year and are hibernating the rest of the time. Some take place in libraries and they have well ordered discussions and if you speak out of turn or too loudly you will be glared to death.

No, not all fandoms are rowdy and vociferous.

I think I've only been into vociferous fandom then. Those where you squeal all you can and flail and have big epic clashes and all the merry adventures of fandom.

No, I think I'm a sort of rat, I abandon ship and indeed let it die slowly, wich shows that while my passion burns high it also fades, not that I don't love the ship anymore but slowly I get into other things...

I am disappoint with myself...
