living dead giiiiiirl
I got into jrock last summer, june or july sometime. it started with me liking egl (elegant gothc lolita), i thought it looked cute and pretty. so i started looking around sites and i was reading a forum when i saw someone have a avvy of some japanese guy with makeup.
so i thought "hmm, who is this? looks interesting" and right clicked so see the name of the avvy, and it was called "raison detre" or something like that so i googled it and got a youtube link.
it was a song called "Raison D'etre" by a band called Dir en grey. and i liked it so i saw lots of backstage, interview and just random videos by them on youtube.
started getting a little obsessive, saving pix and making icons and.. then it hit me i had only heard one song by them. so i dl'ed, i think it was their first and last album. and.... they sucked lol XD
i got too caught up by their look and forgot about the music, which is the most important thing.
then somehow i saw a video by a band called Gazette, called "Zetsu" and now Gazette is my fave band.
along with Phantasmagoria, 176BIZ, Girugamesh and Sid.
but i want to find more bands, cus there are alot of great indies bands out there but i dont know where to start...
oh well...
