clamoring is in town, so she and sgt_keso had a barbecue this evening, which offered a perfect excuse for sgt_keso to show off his current led technical marvel. This week he is working on installing led lights in bike wheels so when the bike is ridden, the lights will form animations. Currently he is just at the stage where he can make pretty colorful shapes when the wheel spins, but he is eventually going to advance to making it sensitive to the rotation of the wheel so he can project stable images. Squee! I love my geeky friends. I didn't have my camera with me, so I tried to take a picture with my phone, but being just a phone, it turned into a bright blob, so you'll just have to take my word on its absolute coolness.
