Stupid lj
Argh, there is a really good reason why I don't read my lj regularly. It takes freaking forever to load, and it drives me crazy. I wait and wait while the page loads, and it freezes up my whole explorer window, so I can't look at any other page while I'm waiting for it to load. Then if I want to read any comments or see cuts, I have to wait again. And then when I go back, I wait again. I know I'm being a bit impatient, but there are very few other sites I view that take this ridiculously long to load. And then about once a week I decide to take a look at my friends list, and by the time I get to the third or forth page of entries, I'm ready to sign off on lj forever.
So I have a quick question for you all. Does lj take forever to load for you as well? Or is it perhaps the layout that I use? Or is it explorer? Or does everyone suffer the same agonizing long load times (on every computer they use despite the fast connection) and just get over it because it's lj, and how else are they going to know what's going on in the world of friends?
