What is love?
Everyone talks about love and I just want to know, what is love? Is it the thing that makes you just feel giddy all over or is it the feeling that resides within that we say is so hard to let go? How do you know that you have love? Some say that it is just there and others don't know it until it's gone. What is love? I was told that love endures long and is patient and kind, but how can that be when a heart has been broken into pieces? Is love the feeling you get at the point of ecstasy when two bodies meet? What is this thing called love? Is it the ism that causes people to do the weirdest things that they said that they wouldn't ever do? Love should be this unconditional thing that you should be able to share with the person you hold dear to you. It should be able to cause you to not even think twice about and how you feel. You should be able to be free in love. Love should allow you to be so confident that people have to wonder,"Damn, what is it that they have that I don't?" If for any reason love leaves you, true love will find itself back to its starting point because love will remember what made it love in the first place. Love forgets what happens in the past because it overlooks fault and causes you to look within the soul versus the flesh. Love is for everyone, but why is it that everyone doesn't have it? What is love to you?
