I could never be vegan based solely on how much I love honey. I eat it with everything. I love the smell of it. I love the feel and taste of it. I love how it kinda burns as it goes down my throat but coats it in a healing manner at the same time.

One of my favorite things to do while driving aside from listening to music is listening to audiobooks. Entire three hour drives disappear in moments because I got so absorbed into a story.

Last Sunday, Sara and I randomly drove to Clarksville, TN to shop. OK, it wasn't completely random, but it was the closest place that had the store we wanted to visit. ... but the chat and laughs we had driving to and from there will be one of my all time favorite memories with that girl. Nothing spectacular, just a really wide variety of topics. She really is a swell gal. I lub her. I still call her my roommate despite being a year since we've lived together. We realized that Alabama was only a couple of hours away and seriously considered the idea of going. Instead, we planned to go somewhere like Florida or West Virginia when the next long weekend comes up. I've never been east of Cincinnati so I'd love to go somewhere new.

Thanks to the lovely Lia, I am listening to the leaked Bat for Lashes album that I will buy in April. I need to hold it in my hand. This confession was brought to you by the letter "L."

I watched Paris je t'aime on the Indie channel earlier and loved it. 18 different shorts by 18 different directors. Some cheesy, some cute, some profound but overall left me feeling very much like I just had a good deep breath. Though, one of the shorts reminded me of my favorite place in the world. Despite the time that has passed, the dynamic of relationships changing, the heartbreaks taking place and the general turnaround of life since then ... the green bench in this odd corner of Helsinki still remains to be my favorite place in the world.

This past week was interesting. I needed a drink halfway through it but Friday night made up for it. Work, dentist, visits, appointments, scheduling, friends, drama, books and so on. So I met up with some friends at the Vid at what I figured would be an hour at the most, catching up, having a beer and heading to my sister's to sleep. We ended up closing the bar down and laughing so hard that my gut is sore today. Conversations were random yet informational. At 3 a.m., my fantastic sister picked me up, re-parked my car, and let me park my drunk ass on her couch. Today, the most I accomplished aside from play with and feed Asa was getting my oil changed. $20 oil change quickly turned to $70 since I needed a new air filter, a complete lube check (That's what she said!) and a new light bulb for my front right turn signal. I also need an entirely new set of tires as my tread level is a four ... out of 32. :o( Sad face on the money that I need to dish out on new tires but it'll be awesome to have new tires. More smooth drive, better gas mileage, less slippage in the rain, etc. That's the next thing I need to do. What is it with paying off your car that Murphy's Law swoops in and suddenly you have 023840923 things you need to repair/update on it? I am, however, a self-proclaimed poster child for Murphy's Law.

Today's topic: name a movie Bill Pullman was in that his character did not get the short end of the stick? See my Facebook for an ongoing status conversation about this. I noticed this today and I find it fascinating.

Random post, over and out.
