Umm. true enough, maybe ready to plan it but not start it for another week?
On the one hand: momentum, focus here now. On the other hand: planning, organizing, execution, win. And: people tired of emo-angst-drama-nosleep right now?
Could do preliminary results sharing - for revising, finalising. For instance, if 10 things liked, how best combine? And viral communication: takes 2-5 reposts to get around widely.
Fandom_counts displays classic rule of effectiveness: the simplest response possible to the clearest issue with the highest moral force, that leads to the greatest impact.
As an example, note that bloggers & industry have captured that "Wow! Within 2 days 29,000 fans told LJ how unhappy they were!" Never mind that journals /=/ people, it was a hot statistic for all the above reasons: quickly captured, simple, easily interpreted (in many different ways, heh) = impact.
So, at risk of sounding like I have absorbed more of the whole teaching-assessment edu-quack than would be good for me:
What are our goals? How will we know when we get there? (End State "Vision") -- What will be the measurement of success? (After vs. Before)
Then we can map the getting there, and also the "rhetoric": the reasons why people will join in. (the fun! the fics! the free icons!)

Sent again. Let me know if it still doesn't show up. Some days I can't seem to get the simple things right! Only the big complicated ones :-)
