St Augustine!

It was such a fun place! The only picture I didn't get that I kinda wanted was of the Huguenot Cemetary. But I have no qualms about leaving the dead to their peace.

Ok, I'm cutting this because there are 20 pictures. If you take the time to let them download, I think you will be pleased. I'm not putting them all up, either.

Don't blink! You never know who might be walking by...

The sky from Camp Blanding in Starke, Florida

Under the grape vines in St Augustine

Castillo de San Marco

A cannon

It's washed out, but it's super neat nonetheless

The entire fort is made out of coquina shell

Boom!

Topherbrains and a big cannon

This is just so pretty. Tophe is overlooking everyone, but you can't see him because of LJ :(

It was super hot in the fort, so we took a quick nap in the shade afterward

A sailboat sunset

The Lover's Tree. Can you guess why?

The Lighthouse!!!

An amazing view from the lighthouse

This is my absolute favorite picture that we took the entire time we were on our getaway. It makes me feel pretty, unlike the one we took while we were on the carriage ride...

Yes, we both conquered the 218ish steps to the top!!!

I had never before seen a white peacock. It is beautiful

The Fountain of Youth!

Fish near the fountain

We also went on a horse-drawn carriage ride through town. Our horse's name was Jack and he was wearing big, pink sunglasses above his eyes. He was sweet, but I didn't take a picture; It was night and I didn't want to blind him.

This may be a little obvious, but I love Christopher very much and I will never forget our trip to St Augustine.
