I've had a running hatred for the word "Orbs" for a while now. I won't argue my points here, ahhahaa!

That mysterious text is so super mysterious you might need a decoder ring!

Taking a break from the baking frenzy, and I was delighted to find another stellar chapter of this hilarious story.

Buffy's angry “You can’t do that! That’s a very bad vampire! Bad, bad, bad!” had me laughing out loud. All she needed was a corpse to rub Spike's nose in!

This, too, was hysterical: “Don’t do that.” She looked away.

“Do what?”

“That thing with your eyes! You know I can’t resist your sapphire orbs as they silently beg me to love you.” The tension that had been in her voice earlier slowly lifted with her last statement and she swooned as she looked at him, biting her lip as she smiled sweetly. Spike thinks she's been reading trashy novels, but, worse, I bet she's been reading "Dawson's Creek" fan fic. Bonus points for Spike inwardly laughing, then co-opting orbs for orblashesThen it gets all romantic and sweet between them. Spike's willing to do the right thing, as long as she keeps telling him exactly what that entails, and when Buffy said she trusts Spike, it's no wonder the evil vamp got a bit misty. This had ( ... )

All she needed was a corpse to rub Spike's nose in! And then hit him over the head repeatedly with a rolled up magazine. I prefer, Cat Fanciers.

Joss was totally cruel. I'm only partially cruel.

Cindy Lou Who! I kind of love you?? You will find out and everyone's heart will grow three sizes that day. Thank you for reading and taking the time to review amid your crazy-baking-frenzy!

*gazes at you with my hazel orbs while my love for you flows through me like honey*

*looks upon your lily-white neck, pining for the days whenst it was besmirched with ruby-red, a lover's kiss, the kiss of death*

*plays a dramatic organ chord and pauses in the doorway.*

*bites fist*

*runs towards fields of poppies, the only place I might find reprieve in these dark and dreadful times*

*woebegone, a song of sorrow*

I've been spectacularly bad at reviewing this story, with the x-mas shopping and ZOMG!HOUSE and everything, but I simply had to reply to this:

ORBLASHES!!!!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAHAAAAAAAA!!!!!

God, that was great.

*see above comment*

I totally give everyone a pass for lack of reviews due to the holiday madness. I, stupidly, thought I could make two scarves, wrap 30 presents, make dinner, bake cookies, clean the house AND post fan fic. In two days. Well, I'm sweating. Sweating!!

Glad you liked orblashes! :) Thank you for laughing! And sharing! And leaving comments! *hugs you* Happy Holidays!

orblashes *slaps hand on thigh while guffawing madly*

He was her champion, her knight in shining armor, the only man she would ever love like this and every moment she spent with him only solidified her feelings even more. <-- this line touched me. No particular reason, it just made me stop and reread it and smile.

OMG, the journal entries. And the way they were shared was so "I wish I was Buffy right now!" The way they were just sharing a moment of quiet affection... it was a beautiful moment.

I wish I were Buffy most times, actually. Except for the parts when she's sad or dying. Those parts kind of stink. (Like poo poo, for an example.)

I'm glad you liked the d'awwww moments in this chapter and didn't find 'em too cheesy. I'm kind of a sucker for the sweet, but totally and vehemently against things like "orbs" and "manhood".

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
