My grandad told me this riddle; can you figure it out?
Three men walk into a hotel looking for one room to stay in. The hotel manager said that one room cost $30. Each man gave the hotel manager $10. The men leave and go up to their room. Later, the hotel manager realized that he overcharged them by $5 so he gave the bell-boy 5 dollars to bring up to their room. In the elevator, the bell boy realized that the 3 men couldn't possibly split the $5 evenly, so he took $2 and put it in his pocket...that way each man would get $1 back. Therefore, each man only paid $9 for the room:
9 dollars x 3 men = 27 + (the $2 in the bell boy's pocket) = $29
What happened to the other dollar?????????
