scorching days. sticky nights. sweat beads on my forehead. comatose boyfriend. jet lag to blame. julie doiron serenading me. nintendo. lazy basset. six pack of high life. eating contests and photo booth sessions at work. mom giggling on the phone. brass engagement ring by the padaung karen tribe. karaoke to jenny’s mom. vegetarian lasagna for lunch. brisk walks across the hawthorne bridge, breathing in deeply. smiles at strangers.
my heart is so full. i took an unexpected turn head-first into real life, good life. i didn’t know what was bad for me until i could view it in hindsight.
