My brain is leaking out of my ears.

Okay, not really.

But, perhaps for the first time in my life I feel really dumb.

It happens. (To some people more than others.)

I wish that time would stop and I could just sit back for a little bit and NOT WORRY about anything.

I also wish that I was Jewish so that I didn't have to go to school tomorrow. :(

Well, that, and Jews are really cool.

Uh, fake sick?

I don't know any Jews. :\ (Well, one, but not very well. She was my Meyerhoff Big Sister/Counselor.)

All the cool kids are Jewish! (Uh... well, not really, but a lot of cool kids are Jewish. It's not the same thing though.)

I can't fake sick; I have a test and a quiz tomorrow. Plus, I can't afford to miss AP English.

All Jews should be in school tomorrow, considering Rosh Hashanah doesn't start until 7:30 p.m....

But aren't there services during the day? I don't know, because I'm not Jewish. :'(
All I know is that none of my Jewish friends in Milwaukee are going to school tomorrow.

Unless you're Orthodox or something, i'm pretty sure services don't start until later...

Our town is about 35% Jewish and all of us are going to school! I wish we didn't have to, though. ;)

Le shrug.
Gentiles have to go to school for every Jewish holiday, if that makes you feel better?

Not in our town- no one goes to school on major Jewish holidays then. :P We never really get out of school for anything that everyone else doesn't.

That's because you live in the tristate area, where everyone and their mother is Jewish. Otherwise they're not Jewish, now, are they. But out here in the middle of nowhere Milwaukee--unless you go to the Milwaukee Jewish Day School--you don't get off for any Jewish holidays.

I always think it's weird to not live in a town full of Jews.

And heehee- Milwaukee Jewish Day School.

My mother just started yelling at me when I told her (again) that it makes sense for me to go on birth control even though i'm not sexually active because I want bigger boobs I won't get that time of the month as much and that I don't want children anyway. Somehow we always end up in a discussion of how I don't want children.

Commonly abbreviated as MJDS. Alternatively, it's called Jew School.

My mother is against me going on the pill because of the hormones. I'm not sexually active either, but I had the worst debilitating cramps ever. Like, I had to lie in bed all day type of cramps. My gyno put me on Ponstel instead. It works, but uh, doesn't necessarily make my period lighter (or shorter) like the pill wll.
