- in america, we have pre-school (age...5?), kindergarten to fifth grade (referred to as elementary school), sixth to eighth (middle school), then ninth to twelveth (high school) and then college/university! some people follow up with graduate school after uni depending on their professional. i am currently in 11th grade, called a "junior" (there are specific names--freshman, sophomore, junior, senior--for high school), and in a position to take this HUGE standardized test called the SAT thatll help determine which colleges will accept me ;3;
so for courses this year, im allowed 7 max and i have 5 this year bcos of the intensity of the courses i chose this year um. college level courses are offered in high school, called AP (advanced placement) classes, and i take 3. ap language and composition (a lot less analysis, more argumentation than i expected ;;), ap biology, ap calculus bc (bc is the difficulty level, its a lot more challenging than calc ab), and one honors course, french 4 honors, and u.s. history. yep thats it, thats my school. we have different schedules for each day of the week to take the classes and stuff. this was such tl;dr probably so boring omfg :(

- my favorite color is spring green! but my favorite season is autumn, bcos birthday and layering clothes and persimmons aaaa favorite fruit ever ;w;

- i really like meat. like ribs and stuff, i love kbbq. i could never be a vegetarian i love meat way too much okay :| also i have kind of a sweet tooth i should stop eating junk food in general!!
and yes i love xiao long baos ;o; i dont like most dimsum food actually but the chicken feet are great.

- i really like "the quiet world" by jeffrey mcdaniel (which i wrote speechless off of actually) but um richard sikens poetry owns my heart. LITERALLY I LOVE SIKEN I LOVE HIS WORDS. i recently finally succeeded in begging my mom to buy me his book, crush, and my favorites are "scheherazade," "the torn-up road," and of course, the last verse of "you are jeff." sikens poetry hits home to my heart somewhere deep and raw and perfect inside, ive never loved someones writing so much. i love siken. i love siken.

- i used to read much more than i do now but ive never seen that many movies. i love howls moving castle (the movie, not the book) like a lot, the art is gorgeous the plot i love the story. im also a fan of romance novels, i would digest those haha. now i dont read much anymore bcos my neighborhood library is closed for construction...

so um yeah major babbling, hopefully that taught you some things about me!? i expect to hear your answers also c: ♥

omg it is not boring i love learning about other societies and how they work things out; especially education! and SAT i know SAT i am contemplating taking them after my A Levels for idk back up i suppose? The competition for local University here is really crazy and I am a little worried u_u

spring green is so pretty ** my favourite colour is definitely pink! i don't have a favourite season because Singapore but I think I would like spring a lot.

kbbq is the best omg and meat is good too so good! i like to eat vegetables too tho haha; i could eat just vegetable with rice and feel happy. i love fried food tho and spicy food ugh i love spicy things so much, especially when it numbs your tongue and burns your throat aaahhh gmh. and omg chicken leg you are A+ i don't eat those u______u i am very tame in my eating habits i think.

spore's school system sounds pretty good too; i replied more in the email i sent last night ;3;
urgh SAT! im getting pretty close to the full score but i still need some work, sighs. a lot of universities rely on this for their acceptances so i have to do well :c

what are the seasons like for you? california doesnt rly have much of a winter (no snow in my area!!) but our summer is full blast tbh ~_________~

i liked fried food a lot, and vegetables well enough. i can eat spicy food but i no longer enjoy it and no longer seek it out. also my sweet tooth is like, having atrophy or something? i dont like sweets as much as i used to--like i still do, but sometimes things are just much too sweet for me. which is good!
i love chicken feet :33 its been a while since i went to have dimsum though? :x if you could just eat one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be? id have fried rice. you can put anything in it esp meat!! so it can changed but thats it, thats it for variety. excluding the health factor though lmao.

i love books a lot ;;;;; i used to go to barnes and nobles (its a bookstore do you have b&n in spore?) a lot and just luxuriate in all the books there. and read shoujo manga hahaha!
i miss reading, and i miss writing :c i didnt realize how busy school would make me.
