I swear I had seven chickens before they hatched...
So, JET calls me today. Apparently, they got to me on their alternates list and I now have a spot. This makes me feel better, even though I still don't know whether or not I'll take the job. They didn't have placement information for me already, so it may still be too far from where Matt is, and I'm supposed to be a bridesmaid in the soon-to-be Mrs. Halter's wedding, and I'm NOT missing that.
So, I gave JET a yes-for-now (even though they think it's a definite yes), but hopefully I'll find out whether or not I have a job with Nova or Amity before I have to sign anything with JET.
But I am happy. They wanted me after all. Neat.
And if anyone out there knows anyone in New Hampshire/Massachusetts/Connecticut who may need a roommate for August and September, let me know.
