Ziva David in NCIS
Ziva David is a Mossad agent sent from Israel to NCIS after Special Agent Caitlin (Kate) Todd was murdered by a rouge Mossad named Ari Haswari, whom was also her half-brother. After killing Ari to protect NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Ziva is assigned to Gibbs' team as a liaison for Mossad, much against his wishes. Throughout her appearances in the series Ziva has proven herself over and over again as a capable agent if a little different with her field methods from her time spent as a Mossad assassin. She constantly trades good-natured barbs with her partner and senior-field agent Anthony DiNozzo, some of which have a good deal of unresolved sexual tension, and gets along with the other member of their team Timothy McGee. Ziva is shown having a good relationship with, then, Director Jenny Shepard from working with her in the past and after a rocky start she and Abby Sciuto became rather firm friends as well. At the end of the last season the new Director of NCIS, Leon Vance, terminates her liaison position and Ziva's father, Mossad Director Eli David has her return to Israel. However at the start of the new season Ziva is saved from her imprisonment and tormentors by the same group of men she left in the states.
Ziva is a very aggressive and sure-fire woman, most of the time hiding her emotions behind the same kind of front Gibbs has built up. She is skilled in nine languages (of varying proficiency) but still has problems with English idioms and refrains from using contractions in her speech. Being from Israel and part of Mossad, Ziva is said to be Jewish and wears the Star of David but rarely observes the dietary laws or Orthodox Jewish strictures. Reportedly able to kill a person eighteen different ways with a paper clip and can take down a mental person on steroids. Ziva is also a good cook, this claim being supported by most on her team. Also being part of Mossad Ziva is a sharpshooter and very in tune with the world around her, she is hard to sneak up on. Quick to temper and violent when so, traumatic events make her turn inward and Ziva seems to become more moody and volatile.

Ziva was born in Israel, originally in the year 1465 along with her half siblings; elder brother Ari and younger sister Tali to Eli David, a rather powerful Jewish man. When Ziva was eight her sister was killed in a rock slide, though outwardly she showed no sorrow the young girl was devastated and never really go over it. Life continued to be cruel as she grew into a young woman, her father lost his amassed wealth steadily over the years due to bad deals and the like. Finally their possessions dwindled down to a few items and Eli's remaining children, one of whom he sold to a group of rather unusual people whom only roamed the streets at night. Ziva quickly learned that her new keepers were vampires looking for a servant to run daytime errands for them as they extended their reach from Europe outward. Raised as an obedient daughter she followed her new masters' orders until her twenty-seventh year (1492).
A newly turned vampire escaped the confines of his chamber and attacked several of the few human servants in the manor, Ziva was one of them. Three of the five did not survive the deadly diseases transmitted with the bite, the two new vampires left severely weakened. As they regained their strength Ziva was allowed to grow under the new freedom bestowed upon her, vampires did not make servants out of their own kind. Years passed and her knowledge swelled, learning and experiencing history as it came and went. Without Lycans (werewolves) in their region there was no need for the renowned Death Dealers (skilled hunters/killers of Lycans) that roamed Budapest, that was until some werewolves trying to escape the vampire Elder Viktor made their way into Israel. As they Changed the country folk and their numbers began to grow the need for the Dealers began to grow as well; Ziva signed up only after hearing that Ari and her father had been turned. She promised herself that she would take care of her kin, even if it meant killing them with her own hands.
Centuries slowly crept by with Ziva always chasing after her prey, getting close countless times but her family always managed to escape her. It wasn't until the same time Lucian and Kraven's plot to kill the elders (2002) does she catch up with Ari, taking him down in a rare hand-to-hand fight. Ziva barely escapes with her own life, grateful that her father held back the rest of his pack, calling it an honorable match between two warriors. Still she continued to hunt Eli David after recovery, favor or not Ziva would not spare his life as he had spared hers. But without Ari making waves and leaving bread-crumbs it was even harder to track down her father. The matters of the main coven were none of her concern until she was ordered to go there from her own sire, they were in dire need of Death Dealers like Ziva (2009).

Powers: Typical of vampires she does not age past her turning point and will die if in sunlight for too long and fire will kill eventually; however crosses, holy ground/water, and garlic do nothing against her. Rapid healing powers, can transfer her memories to other vampires via her blood, the normal super speed and strength. The unusual ability to cling to ceilings and walls and falling from an impossible height to land like a cat with no broken bones. Ziva does have a reflection and depending on the situation her eyes turn an alarming shade of blue, she can also see in the dark. Ageless

Possessions: A rather large duffle containing bullets filled with silver nitrate as well as three spare Sig Sauer Automatics, a fourth is on her person as well as a smaller gun and a few silver throwing stars, gas bombs, and silver-shrapnel grenades. There is also a small cooler tucked inside with cloned blood made by Ziodex Industries, a company the vampires own. A paperclip or two, a book, a cell phone, a set of clothes, an umbrella, a pair of sunglasses.
Body Type: Petite and sleek with just a bit of plushness on her body, she is a warrior and has honed her body as such. Not overly muscular but then again as a vampire most of her strength comes from a place not openly seen.
Clothing Style: As a Death Dealer her clothing style is skin-tight leathers black in color, boots with good traction. This is worn underneath more modern clothes, jeans and sweaters most of the time, also in dark colors. It is rare she will indulge in more feminine outfits though she does like them.
Speaking Style: Despite being several hundreds of years old Ziva's English remains absent of contractions (ie: can't, I'm, you've, etc) and some idioms escape her though she knows of them. When speaking to others she will share what she is allowed but is most secretive, given the nature of her species, and will come off cold until one gets to know her.
General Demeanor: Ziva is seen as cold and aloof, this is a front put up after centuries of working with the Death Dealers. It is hard to get her to trust but after that they begin to see the woman that still lives in her undead form. She will tease and joke with those she lets in, preferring those few people be the only ones that see that part of her.
Career: Death Dealer, she hunts down the Lycans and kills them.
Prejudices: Lycans of course, vampires even though that's just marginally so. Humans that take their life for granted, doing dangerous things without a care for their mortality.
Best Qualities: Although she prefers working alone Ziva is a loyal team-player, never leaves a man behind and always has their back. Determined to the point of being stubborn, she does not like to be underestimated, might as well let her do it herself. Ziva is very skilled and confident with what she does, she does it very well and has for centuries.
Worst Qualities: Ziva has a rather quick and violent temper, having once sent a rather large werewolf through a concrete wall after it killed a comrade. Unfortunately she also keeps quiet when she should speak up, most of this having being pertinent information to a mission. Because she is so tightly wound Ziva is forever staring into shadows that hide nothing, it would not be wise to sneak up on her.
Weaknesses: Sunlight, of course, and fire. Those that lose their families, vampires or not, also pull at Ziva's heartstrings from losing both of her own siblings. Because of her temper she does not often think before she acts.
Hobbies: Ziva enjoys cooking though, rarely since with the Change she does not need to eat normal food. Training constantly soothes her nerves, as does cleaning her gun.
Talents: Fluent in Spanish, French, Arabic, English, and of course Hebrew. Speaks at least some German, Italian, Turkish, and Russian. Can kill a person 18 different ways with a paperclip, plays the piano and did ballet as a child, is a human lie detector and can tell if a diamond is real or not complete with a photographic memory. And she is an excellent cook.
