I'd been saying the whole week, "this is my Super Bowl," and the Eagles just delivered in every way imaginable. I don't even care if they make it to Tampa now, even facing the very real possibility that they will. The Eagles just took one of the most miserable seasons in history and made it one of the greatest.
As for Reid: 10 years, *FIVE* NFC championship appearances. Impressive. Time to go win the big one, guys.
Sadly, tickets never materialized, so I was making noise with the neighbors all afternoon. But I *love* this. I love sneaking into the playoffs as the 6th seed. I love that they're undefeated in the Wild Card round. And obviously I love knocking off any 1st seed to go to another conference championship - the same year you're almost eliminated, where you tied the worst team in the league and your QB didn't even know it was *possible* - and the fact that it was the Giants, in the year they're defending champs, in their own building? Somebody pinch me. :)
