my family is so helpless.
when it comes to technology, my family are fucking helpless assholes.
i bought my parents a photo printer a year ago, i tried to show them how to install the damn thing on their computer so many times, but they were too busy. they just expect me to do it for them. so i always have to print out their shit from my computer.
if something doesn't work on your computer... it needs to be installed. this isn't a hard concept to grasp. instead of having me do everything, why don't they take the fucking intiative and figure it out themselves?
my sister is even worse... she comes up to me this morning and demands me to print out pictures of her drunken european antics. i tell her to hook it up to her computer and print them. she says 'it needs to be installed'... then i find myself searching the whole damn house for the cd, then i realize "why am i doing this? these aren't my pictures, this isn't my printer, this isn't even for my computer... wtf?"
"but i don't even live here, why would i have it installed??" it's been here allll summer long. when she was here.
