Life on Mars
I know that I haven't really mentioned this show a whole lot in my journal, but I watched - and adored - Series One last year even though I didn't bother with typing up my usual episode reactions. (Mainly because I pretty much was instantly hooked and didn't want to take the time to type when I could be watching.) Admittedly, it's been awhile since the last time I made it through that series so things have faded a little. Meaning I definitely need to do a rewatch in the near future.
Now, with Series Two, I haven't had a chance to watch it yet (but I am unspoiled, thanks to my wonderful friends list who've been great with putting things under spoiler cuts.) I've been meaning to, but apparently my professors think that I'm supposed to do things like write papers, or do homework, or work on presentations, or study. *shakes head* I honestly don't know where they'd get an idea like that.
Anyway, I'm planning on getting caught up on final exam week since my last test is on Wednesday but I'm not leaving until the next day, and I thought that it would be a good idea to show Laura and Meg a LoM songvid just to see if they'd be interested in watching the show with me. Especially considering certain casting spoilers for another show that I've convinced them to start watching. So I pulled out last year's VVC DVDs and showed them "Crazy" by klia.
Well, to make a long story ... I'd say short but I'm pretty sure it's too late for that, I no longer have a choice in the matter. Laura has informed me that we'll be watching the show before school ends, or she'll hurt me. And I'm pretty sure that she isn't kidding.
So, um, expect some posts related to Life on Mars coming in the near futue. And probably quite a bit of "squee!" as well.
Um. Only if I manage to survive the next two weeks, of course. Which is kind of up in the air at the moment, what with my DP paper (the 15 page one that I'm still not finished with), my R&R presentation, my SEF presentation, my PS test, my band concert, all of my finals...
