What are your favorite tropes or plots to read in fanfic? What are your favorites to write?

... wait, you want more than that? Really? Oh. (Seriously, though, it's my absolute favorite for both reading and writing. It always has been, and it always will be.)
My favorites for both reading and writing tend to be the same, with a few rare exceptions. I'm writing for myself as much as I am other people, so tropes that I really enjoy tend to appear in my stories.
Outside of the aforementioned hurt/comfort, some other favorites for both reading/writing tend to be canon divergence (especially ones of the "everyone lives!" variety), enemies to friends to lovers, huddling for warmth, shared dreams, trapped in a closet, and found family feels in general.
Some of the few that I enjoy reading (but am very picky about and will very easily drop) but don't think I could write are accidental pregnancy and soulmate AUs.
