Hmm. This is one of those things that I don't really think of all that much. I guess that there are really three things that need to be on this list, for me.

The first one is that, as an introvert, I need to spend quite a bit of time hiding in my apartment and not interacting with people. I do it quite a bit, but there are some times when it's not enough, and I really need to work on saying "no" when people ask me to join them for things. Especially when I was already planning on spending the day/evening by myself, because if my brain has already convinced itself that I'm getting some introvert time in then it becomes a lot harder on me when that changes.

(Says the woman who not ten minutes ago reluctantly said "okay, sure" when V called to invite me to her house tonight. There's a very good chance that I'm going to text her in a bit with an excuse, because I really don't want to go out. Especially since both cops and drunk drivers will probably be out in force tonight.)

The second is something that I really need to do more of in the future, and it's go on walks/ride my bike. I spend way too much time in front of my computer sometimes, between fannish activities and my two jobs, and I'm getting old enough that my poor back is starting to complain when I don't get exercise in. Those two activities are fairly easy for me to do, and they don't involve me having to spend time around people like I would at a gym (see point #1), so I really do need to try to get around to them more often. Especially since I always feel so much better after I do them.

The third is going into DC proper and wandering around. I did it quite a bit when I was still living within bus/walking distance of the metro, but now that I'm a little farther out it's slipped. It's very much not something that I want or need to do on a weekly basis (once again, see point #1), but heading down to the Mall and wandering the museums always puts me into a better frame of mind. And it kind of ties into point #2, since when I go into DC I tend to do quite a bit of walking (mainly to avoid the crowds on the metro whenever possible).
