One of my relatives gave me a $50 Kohl's gift card for Christmas, and I was keeping it in my wallet with a plan of using it once I get moved into my new place for whatever smaller household items I realized that I'd need. It was stuck in with some of my store rewards program cards and the like; the part of my wallet that I really don't open or look in all that much, except when I need to get something out of it.
I just realized that it's not there anymore.
I don't have any idea when or where it might have disappeared. I remember putting it in my wallet at my parents' house, and I vaguely remember seeing it in there when I got back to my apartment at the end of December (when I was taking all of my receipts and such out of my wallet from the drive back from Tennessee). I'm literally drawing a blank after that, though; looking back, I'm getting the sinking feeling that it might not have been there the last time I used any of the other gift cards I was given for Christmas (which was almost two weeks ago).
For all I know, it might have fell out earlier today or it might have fell out before 2014 even got here. Although I can't for the life of me figure out how it might have fallen out in the first place, considering where in my wallet it was. I have no idea what happened to it, except for the fact that it's definitely not in my wallet or my purse.
Did I mention fuck? :-/
