Okay, I finally closed my eyes and randomly pointed at three fandoms on my list narrowed down my nominations. And the winners for this year are:

I know that Black Ships, Stealing Fire, and Hand of Isis were all nominated. Sadly, I doubt The General's Mistress will be be, but maybe next year.

I *wanted* to nominate it, but was worried about it being eligible since it's not been released, yet?

I'm still trying to decide if I'll be officially signing up this year, or just keeping to my tradition of being on the last minute pinch hitters list. :D

That's not a problem with Yuletide. I know for a fact that Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is being nominated and it won't even be in theaters until January.

Well crap. I didn't realize we could do that with things that haven't been released yet.

It doesn't happen a lot, but there are usually one or two things that aren't technically out yet that are nominated. And, more often, books or movies that won't actually come out until after nominations/sign-ups but before the deadline pop up.

I had a hard time narrowing my nominations down even before I thought Mistress wasn't eligible. I know a friend hasn't decided her nominations, yet, so I'll try to put a good word in with her. :D

Okay, I'm really to actually do sign-ups now...

I'm still not sure if I'm signing up or just pinch hitting!

It's getting tempting to actually sign up since I haven't done that in about three years.

Personally, I like doing both. (Or, at least, signing up and then doing treats when I inevitably miss all of the pinch hits that I'm interested in.)

My problem is that even after I can think of which of my fandoms and characters to choose, I am really bad about thinking up prompts for a writer. :D
