Oh, Facebook.
So, uh, I kind of lost my patience on Facebook and made another politics-related post. This one about the whole "birth control is evil" issue that a lot of Republicans are talking about. *buries head* At least this time I don't think it's going to end with me coming out of the closet with any close family members?
On the positive side, most of my family members and people who go to church with them appear to be ignoring that post. Which is better than last time, where they were making comments about how I was a horrible person who was going to hell.
And, hey, while most of the people commenting positively or liking the post are fandom people, one of them is a professor from (my extremely Christian, extremely conservative) college. That definitely made my day.
Even if it was just Dr. M. (That would be one of the only Democrat professors on campus while I was there. I often referred to him as Professor Snape, I believe, since he was the sponsor of the history club and we typically called ourselves the Slytherins of [insert my very conservative college here].)
